LEXINGTON, Ky. - The American Volleyball Coaches Association has announced the 2026 Team Acadmeic Awards and Northwest Nazarene has earned the award for the 11th straight year.
Teams earn the award by maintaining a year-long grade-point average of at least 3.30 on a 4.00 scale (or 4.1 on a 5.0 scale). There were 1,432 collegiate and high school volleyball teams that earned the honor.Â
NNU will start their season on August 27th when they will face off against the University of Sioux Falls in Seaside, California. They will open at conference play on September 10th on the road in Bellingham, Washington against Western Washington and host Alaska Fairbanks and Alaska Anchorage on September 17th and 19th for their first home games of the season.Â
