GREENWOOD, Ind. - College Sports Communicators (CSC) has announced the Academic All-America Teams for the 2025-26 Men's Cross Country and Track & Field seasons. Reigning national champion Laurnez Waldbauer earned the honor for the third time in his NNU career.

Waldbauer earned Academic All-American status for the third time after posting a 4.00 GPA as a graduate student studying business administration. 

Waldbauer closed his decorated career as a Nighthawk with a GNAC Champonship and a NCAA DII National Championship in the javelin this past May.

Missouri S&T's Owen Fraser was named the Academic All-America Team Member of the Year and is one of 10 repeat selections on the CSC Academic All-America teams. Of those 10, Laurenz Waldbauer has earned the honor twice before along with Fraser and Slippery Rock's Seaton Wozniak. 

The 16-member Division II first team had a 3.91 average undergraduate GPA. Additionally, the members of the CSC Academic All-America® men's track & field/cross country Division II teams had 10 student-athletes who hold a perfect 4.0 GPA in their undergraduate or graduate degree programs.
 
The Division II Academic All-America® program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division II national governance structure to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Division II Academic All-America® program.
