NNU and SFU Battle Results in Another Scoreless Draw

NAMPA, Idaho - Northwest Nazarene women's soccer and Simon Fraser went 90 minutes without a goal on Saturday, settling for a 0-0 draw.
 
The Nighthawks move to 4-4-6 on the season and 2-4-4 in GNAC play.
 
The result is NNU's second-straight scoreless draw, third in the last four games, and fifth time this season that the Nighthawks and their opponents have ended at 0-0.
 
The Red Leafs held the advantage in shots on the afternoon 10-7 along with a 6-3 edge in shots on goal. NNU's Bailey Blancett saved all six attempts that came her way.
 
Madison Grande had five of NNU's seven shots, including one that hit the post just seven minutes into the game. The Nighthawks also had to play down a player for the last two minutes after a red card was given to Makayla Roggow.
 
After four games at home, the Nighthawks will be on the road for the next three starting with a visit to Montana State Billings on Thursday, Oct. 26 at 7:00 p.m. NNU next and final home game will be Nov. 4 against Western Oregon.
