Three Nighthawks Earn Women's Soccer All-GNAC Honors

PORTLAND, Ore. - The GNAC announced the 2025 Women's Soccer All-Conference Teams on Wednesday afternoon, with three members of Northwest Nazarene's squad earning honors.

Savanna Herz received Second Team honors in the midfield, her second-straight All-GNAC nod after being named Honorable Mention last year. Goalkeeper Alex Barrass and defender Grace Fisher were selected to the Honorable Mention squad. 

Herz tied for the team lead in goals, assists, and points, scoring three goals and assisting on three others for nine total points. She also had the most shots on goal on the team with 17, and had the game-winning goal in the 2-0 victory over Western Colorado on Sept. 13.

Barrass started all 18 games in goal for NNU and registered a 1.59 goals against average and four shutouts. She led the GNAC in total saves with 93, and was second in the conference among qualified keepers with 5.17 saves per game. 

Fisher played in and started 16 games on defense for the Nighthawks, playing in all 1440 minutes of those matches. She was an anchor on the back line in her senior campaign, helping NNU to the 1.61 goals against average and four shutouts.
