Northwest Nazarene men's basketball head coach
Paul Rush and his staff have announced the signing of
Easton Reagan to the Nighthawks program heading into the 2022-23 year.
Reagan is a 6'4" guard from Scottsdale, Arizona. He attended and played for Desert Mountain High School and also played with the Arizona Dream.
"We love having hardworking, high character, and tough high school kids join our program and Easton brings all of that to NNU," said Rush. "Easton's natural scoring ability really stood out to us in the recruiting process and we are excited to see him work to translate that to the college level. Easton comes from a strong family support system and they have done a tremendous job preparing him for the next step in his academic and athletic career. He will be a great fit in the Nighthawks community both on and off the court!"
Reagan averaged 18 points per game, 8 rebounds per game, 3 assists per game, and 3 steals per game last year for Desert Mountain HS. He was named the Region Offensive Player of the Year, First Team All-Region, and to the 5A All-Conference team.
"It feels like one happy family, and it was always the right choice," said Reagan on what helped him make his choice to play for the Nighthawks.
"We are extremely excited about our freshman class that Easton is a part of," added Rush. "It is one of the deepest and strongest we have had since we brought in guys like
Gabriel Murphy,
Jaylen Fox,
George Reidy, Cayden Wright and
James Nelson together in 2018-19."
Reagan is one of five freshmen and two transfers that are joining the program, including
Nathan Perez. The rest of the class will be released one-by-one on nnusports.com in the coming days.
