During last weekend's NCAA DII Baseball Regional action, the D2CCA and the NCBWA released their All-Region teams for the 2022 baseball season, with three members of the Northwest Nazarene program earning honors.
Grant Kerry received a D2CCA First Team West Region nod for the position of Utility/Non-Pitcher. The duo of
Haden Keller and
Max Holtzclaw were consensus Second Team picks by both associations, with Keller at the Utility/Pitcher slot and Holtzclaw as a Relief Pitcher.
Kerry, who spent time at both first base and in right field this season, earned the first-team D2CCA selection for the second consecutive year after hitting .293 and tying for second in the conference with 10 home runs.
Holtzclaw, a consensus first-team pick in 2021, made the second team after recording a 1.80 ERA in a GNAC-high 25 appearances. Holtzclaw struck out 62, leading all relievers, and he ranks third in Division II with 12 saves.
Keller, earning all-conference honors for the first time, went 8-4 on the mound with a 3.41 ERA, a conference-low .202 opponent batting average and a conference-leading 81 strikeouts. At the plate, Keller hit .298 with a .395 on-base percentage and six home runs.
Kerry is also now eligible for the D2CCA All-American squad, which is set to be released on Friday, June 3.
