PORTLAND, Ore. - The 2021-22 GNAC Men's Track & Field All-Academic Team, presented by Barnes & Noble College, was released on Thursday, with ten members of the Northwest Nazarene program earning the honor.
The honorees, in alphabetical order, are
Josh Beck,
Dylan Breuer,
Colton Burr,
Chandler Emerson,
Dylan Hendry,
Drew Hollenbeck,
Derek Knight,
Colton Sedlacek,
Tyler Shea, and
Cameron Willey.
Burr, Shea, and Willey all earn the honor for the third-straight season, while Sedlacek receives the accolade for the second time.
Breuer is one of six track & field student-athletes across the GNAC to have compiled a perfect 4.00 GPA thus far.
To qualify for the GNAC All-Academic Teams, presented by Barnes & Noble College, nominees must be of sophomore eligibility or greater, have a minimum cumulative GPA or 3.20 or greater, be a letterwinner on their team and must be in at least their second year at the nominating institution.
