Women's Golf Competes in SPU Invite

COVINGTON, Wash. - The NNU women's golf team finished competing at the SPU invite in Covington, Washington this afternoon.

The Nighthawks finished in fourth place, shooting +85 ahead of Bellevue College (+158) and behind Hawaii Hilo (+60). 

NNU was led by Makenna Kelpman through the first day as she shot a 78 (+6). Day two saw Caroline Cavan take the front spot for the Nighthawks with an 80 (+8) and finished tied 17th.

Makenna Kelpman finished the second day with an 81 (+9) and finished tied ninth. 

NNU will head to TimberStone in Caldwell, Idaho for an exhibition meet against College of Idaho next week.
