NAMPA, Idaho – The Nighthawks are set to return tomorrow morning as they compete at home for the NNU Invitational at West Park in Nampa. The women will start at 10 a.m., followed by the men at 11 a.m.
The NNU men will look to defend their team title from last year after sweeping the podium and scoring 26 points. College of Idaho finished second with 47 points. However, NNU will be without four of its top five finishers from last year's home meet, making this year's race a new challenge for the Nighthawks.
The NNU women are coming off one of the program's strongest openers in recent history and will be looking to build on that performance as they compete for the team title. Last year, the Nighthawks finished second with 48 points, just two points behind College of Idaho, who claimed the title.
With both team titles up for grabs, the Nighthawks will look to use their home-course advantage and put together another strong performance tomorrow morning.
