DALLAS, Texas - The NCBWA has announced the West Region All-Region teams for Division II. Headlining the list is
Corbin Talley as he was named the West Region Pitcher of the Year.
The senior from Jones Oklahoma was already named the top pitcher in the GNAC along with a first team selection and now adds to his accolades with a NCBWA West Region Pitcher of the Year. Additionally, Talley was a unanimous first team selection after finishing the season with a 2.42 ERA which was the the 16th best Division II baseball. Talley complied a perfect 11-0 record with four complete games and three shutouts. Talley struck out 99 batters this season, leading the GNAC and fifth in the DII baseball.Â
Reigning GNAC Player of the Year
Carter Walsh was also tabbed on the first team as a utility player. Walsh hit .371 this season with 83 hits and stole 35 bases, 16th in Division II. The Boise native adds to his resume with this honor after being named a first team All-GNAC selection this year, GNAC honorable mention in 2025, second team All-GNAC in 2024 along with being named the GNAC Freshman of the Year.
Wade Duncan is the third member of the Nighthawks on the first team after posting a 2.70 ERA with 10 saves after yesterday's game against San Marcos in the DII West Regional Round. Duncan pitched 26.2 innings this season and is top five in the Division II with 10 saves. This isn't Duncan's first time on the All-Region first team, being named a first teamer in 2024 as a sophomore.Â
Kyle Becker earned second team honors after spending a year at University of Nevada Reno and was named the GNAC Newcomer of the Year in 2026. Becker hit. 378 with 65 hits and 37 RBIs. Becker had an OPS of 1.031.
Adrian Arechiga rounds out the honors for the Nighthawks, being named as an honorable mention. Arechiga hit .339 while 22 stolen bases earning All-GNAC first team honorsÂ
