PORTLAND, Ore. - The Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC) has announced the Men's Track Athlete of the Week for March 16-22.
Grady Mylander has earned the honor after his performance at the OSU PNW Invite in Coravllis, Oregon.
Mylander earned 1st place in the 5000m with a time of 14:19.08 which is the top time in the GNAC and the second fastest in program history.Â
"Grady is running great right now and is super fit, so I wasn't surprised by the outcome of the race. He raced super smartly and set it up nicely for the win. He was hoping to run a faster time, but I have no doubt he'll have other opportunities to hit a quick one later this season."
- Greg Mitchell, NNU Head Coach
Mylander and the Nighthawks will travel to Orem, Utah for the Utah Valley Invitation on March 27 and 28.
