NAMPA, ID - NNU track & field is traveling to Corvallis to test their mettle at the Pacific Northwest Invite hosted by Oregon State University. NNU looks to continue their successful outdoor season against a wide range of intercollegiate & club athletes. There are 28 collegiate teams and 19 club teams registered to compete.
Event recap: Last week the Nighthawks landed at Eastern Oregon University for the Gary Feasel Open. NNU was atop the podium with event winners in several events including Carter Alberts (hammer), Luke Stockett (800, 1500), Amos Lewis (shot put), Thor Kessinger (discus), Gerohm Rihari (high jump), and Brevin Binder (long jump). Event winners for the Lady Nighthawks included Hazel Kunkel (800, 1500), Maddie Weatherford (400m hurdles), Madilyn McCarty (shot put), and Maddie Gebers (javelin).
