DENVER – Northwest Nazarene men's soccer opened its 2025 campaign with a 0-0 draw at MSU Denver on Thursday.
The Nighthawks and Roadrunners managed nine total shots on goal in the match, but none were able to find the back of the net for a game-winning tally.
MSU Denver registered 13 total shots but put just five of them on goal. NNU had only four shots in the contest, but all were on target.
Gerardo Fonte played all 90 minutes in goal, making the five saves for the Nighthawks.
NNU will now make a short trip over to Golden, Colorado to take on Colorado Christian on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
