SANTA ROSA, Calif. - Northwest Nazarene women's golf wrapped up a two-tournament trip through Arizona and California on Tuesday with the completion of the Sonoma State Spring Invitational.
The Nighthawks finished at +63 639, placing 10th out of 11 teams. NNU was within just five strokes of seventh place.Â
Christine Cho and
Tora Timinsky were the top Nighthawks performers at the event, both tying for 18th with a two-round score of 156 (+12). Cho improved from an 80 on Monday to a 76 on Tuesday, while Timinsky shot rounds of 77 and 79.Â
Brianna Shervik and
Challiss Potter were next for NNU, each tying for 38th at 164 (+20).
Caroline Caven rounded out the Nighthawks' competitors with a 172.Â
The Nighthawks will now rest up and prepare for the GNAC Championships, set to be held up north at the Coeur d'Alene Resort Golf Course from April 21-22.
