NAMPA, Idaho - Northwest Nazarene men's golf enjoyed a final tune-up before the GNAC Championships, taking on local rival College of Idaho in a dual match on Friday at Ridgecrest Golf Club.
College of Idaho's A squad took the win, shooting even par in the one round. NNU's A squad was next at +4. The Yotes' B team finished at +21 and the Nighthawks' B team was right behind that at +23.
There was a tie at the top, with NNU's Ben Mulder and C of I's Parker Edwards both shooting a five-under 67.
Lucas Schufreider took fourth at the dual with an even 72, followed by
Noah Larson in fifth at +1,
Gavin Rodeghiero seventh at +3, and
Daniel Rowe and
Kasey Gaff tied for ninth at +4.
The Nighthawks will now look towards the GNAC Championships, held up in Coeur d'Alene from April 21-22.
