KOHALA COAST, Hawaii - Northwest Nazarene's golf teams opened their Hawaii trip at the Dennis Rose Intercollegiate on Monday and Tuesday, with both squads finishing eighth.
On the men's side,
Kasey Gaff secured a top-five finish at +2 for the weekend, shooting rounds of -1, -2, and +5 to tie for fifth out of of field of 59 golfers.
JJ Brigowatz was next for NNU, tying for 23rd at +12.
Noah Larson tied for 37th at,
Dylan Christensen tied for 43rd, and
Will Comstock was 52nd.
For the women,
Caroline Caven led the way with a final score of +22 that tied for 22nd at the event.
Lynea Kelsey tied for 31st at +26, followed by
Jana Knapp in 38th,
Avery Paul in 46th, and
Tanlyn Donahoe in 47th.
The Nighthawks will enjoy a couple of days off in Hawaii before taking on the field at HPU Sharks Shootout on Friday and Saturday.
