KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The College Sports Communicators (CSC) released the 2024-25 Men's Basketball Academic All-District Teams for Division II on Tuesday, with three members of Northwest Nazarene's program earning the honor.
The Nighthawks' honorees are
Kye Dickson,
Briggs Ranstrom, and
Easton Reagan.
To earn this recognition, student-athletes be at least a sophomore in athletic and academic eligibility, must hold a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or above from all schools in their collegiate careers, as well as either play in 90% of their team's games or start in 66% of the team's contests during the current season. here.
The three honors are the most that NNU men's basketball has ever received from the Academic All-District program in a single season, surpassing the two earned in the 2020-21 year. These are also the first such honors since George Reidy was on the Academic All-District team in 2021-22.
Kye Dickson was also selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalist, and he will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced April 15, 2025.
