Game Recap: Women's Volleyball | | Anna Carter

NNU Volleyball Competes Against CWU

ELLENSBURG, Washington – Nighthawks Volleyball made the trip to Washington this week to compete against CWU. In a four set match the Wildcats were able to edge out the Nighthawks 3-1. 

NNU is recorded at 4-8 for GNAC play and 7-13 for the overall season.  

To start the game the Wildcats worked to overpower the Nighthawks offensively shutting them down 25-17. In the second the Nighthawks were able to battle back taking the second 25-23. Even though it appeared that the momentum might shift to the Nighthawks the Wildcats were able to pull off the win in both the third and the fourth. Recording a score of 25-19 in the third and 27-25 in the third.   

Marren Machado led her team with 15 kills followed by Miya Koch who recorded 13. Gabi Moore had 34 assists and Machado also led with 16 digs. 

NNU will be back on their home court next week as they host Alaska Fairbanks. The game is scheduled for November 7th at 9pm in the Johnson Sports Center.
