NAMPA, Idaho - Northwest Nazarene women's soccer hosted Seattle Pacific on Saturday, ending in a 3-1 loss.
The Nighthawks opened up the scoring in the ninth minute when
Allison Wolf headed in a corner assisted by
Nicole Lewis.
Lightning sightings would cause a lightning delay that ensued for 45 minutes after this goal.
Returning from the break the Falcons came out hot as they scored in the 20th, 24th, and 58th minutes.
NNU was led by
Savanna Herz and
Ellie Ritter with four shots apiece, two of them being on goal.
Prior to the game NNU honored their six seniors:
Allison Wolf,
Kate Bleffert,
Alejandra Jaramillo,
Matisyn Ohlson,
Gracie Mares, and
Josie Brence.
The Nighthawks will look to bounce back, hosting their last home game of the season against Saint Martin's, next Thursday, November 7th.
