PORTLAND, Ore. - The GNAC has announced the 2024 Women's Soccer All-Conference Teams on Tuesday afternoon, with Northwest Nazarene's Kate Bleffert and Savanna Herz earning recognition.

Bleffert, a senior defender for the Nighthawks, earned Second Team honors for the third time in her career. Herz, a junior midfielder, receives her first All-GNAC honor with an Honorable Mention accolade.

Bleffert was the leader of the NNU defensive front all season, starting all 18 games at centerback and playing in 1585 of a possible 1620 minutes. The Nighthawks' defense registered three shutouts and a 1.04 goals against average. Bleffert also scored the first goal of her career this season, sending in a stunning free kick from nearly 40 yards out in the final seconds of a 1-0 win at Central Washington on Oct. 19.

Herz led the Nighthawks offensively this year with three goals and six points. Two of her three tallies came in victories over Saint Martin's on Oct. 17 and Nov. 7. She started all 15 matches that she played in this year and also recorded 29 shots.
