BILLINGS, Mont. – Northwest Nazarene women's soccer was able to create multiple chances on the road at Montana State Billings on Saturday, but could not convert any into goals in a 3-0 loss to the Yellowjackets.
The score was deadlocked at 0-0 almost until halftime, but MSUB managed to beat the buzzer with a goal with just 15 seconds remaining to take the lead.
The Yellowjackets added two more in the second half, coming in the 72
nd and 82
nd minutes, to grab the 3-0 victory.
NNU did not lack for chances, outshooting MSUB 16-15 overall and 8-7 on goal, including 10 attempts in the second half.
The Nighthawks will look to bounce back at home next week, hosting Simon Fraser on Thursday and Western Washington on Saturday.
