Nighthawks Fall to Falcons in Seattle

SEATTLE, Washington – The Nighthawks were on the road this weekend to compete against Seattle Pacific University. In a three set game the Falcons were able to pull out the 3-0 win.

NNU moves to 7-12 on the season and 4-7 in GNAC play.


In a strong first set for the Falcons they recorded 15 kills to shut out NNU's 7 kills. Unable to recover, the Nighthawks lost 19-25.


The Nighthawks fought to move the match back into their favor however, their efforts were unsuccessful. The Falcons took the second and third sets with scores of 25-23 and 25-21. 


Maren Machado recorded 10 kills for the game partnering with Morgan Wilding who had 15 assists. In a stand out performance Kayci Spray led defensively, contributing 21 digs. 


NNU will travel back to Washington this week to face off against Central Washington. The game is scheduled for Saturday, November, 2nd at 1:00 p.m. pacific time.
