CANYON, Texas – Northwest Nazarene came up short in a 1-0 loss to West Texas A&M on Thursday night.
The Nighthawks' record is now 2-2-1
After five shot attempts to start the game, West Texas A&M notched the only goal in the 33
rd minute. The Nighthawks were unable to get a shot off in the first half but bounced back in the second half.
Zakaria Daaou,
Alan Soto Ortiz, and
Pablo Gonzalez were the three Nighthawks able to put shots on goal.
Sawyer Price played all 90 minutes in the net and recorded two saves.
The Nighthawks next matchup is against Lubbock Christian in Lubbock, Texas this Saturday.
