LA GRANDE, Oregon – Northwest Nazarene men's soccer tied Eastern Oregon 2-2 in Thursday's afternoon matchup.
Grady Thurman scored both Nighthawks' goals. His first goal came in the 38
th minute of the game and was assisted by
Zakaria Daaou to give the team a 1-0 lead. His second goal was just minutes later to put NNU up 2-0 going into halftime.
EOU began inching back into the game with a goal in the 66
th minute, then tied the game at two a piece in the 87
th minute of the game.
The game went on to end without another shot after Eastern Oregon tied the game.
The Nighthawks took 12 shots with six of them on target while the Mountaineers took six shots with two of them on target. NNU took eight corner kicks to EOU's four.
