PORTLAND, Ore. - The GNAC released the members of the 2022-23 GNAC All-Academic Men's Basketball Team on Wednesday, with three student-athletes from Northwest Nazarene receiving the recognition.
In alphabetical order, the Nighthawks awarded are
Jaden Carter,
Gabriel Murphy, and
Timothy TenKley.
All three are repeat honorees from a season ago. Carter, an Engineering major, and TenKley, a Business Administration major, have both compiled a 3.68 cumulative GPA in the academic careers thus far. Murphy also makes the cut for the GNAC's prestigious honor with a 3.25 GPA in Computer Science.
To qualify for the GNAC All-Academic Teams, nominees must be of sophomore eligibility or greater, have a minimum cumulative GPA or 3.20 or greater, be a letterwinner on their team and must be in at least their second year at the nominating institution.
