KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The College Sports Communicators (CSC) released the 2023 Women's Soccer Academic All-District Teams for Division II on Tuesday, with six members of Northwest Nazarene's program earning the honor.
The Nighthawks' honorees are defender
Kate Bleffert, forward
Madison Grande, forward
Savanna Herz, midfielder
Alejandra Jaramillo, forward
Carolyn Moravec, and midfielder
Allison Wolf.
Bleffert earns the third Academic All-District honor of her career, while Grande notches her second such accolade. Bleffert has compiled a 3.92 GPA in Biology and is a senior academically, while Grande is also a senior and holds a 3.76 GPA in Secondary Education.Â
Herz holds a 3.69 GPA in Biology, Jaramillo a 3.51 GPA in Social Work, Moravec a 3.90 GPA in Biology: Pre-Veterinary, and Wolf a 3.93 GPA in Social Work.Â
Grande, Jaramillo, Bleffert, and Wolf each started all 18 games for the Nighthawks this season, while Herz (16 starts) and Moravec (4 starts) each played in all 18 matches.
The 2023 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
To earn recognition for the fall sports, student-athletes be at least a sophomore in athletic and academic eligibility, must hold a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or above in their collegiate careers, as well as either play in 90% of their team's games or start in 66% of the team's contests during the 2023 season. Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced December 19 (men) and December 20 (women). The CSC Academic All-District® teams include the student-athletes listed at the links above.

The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2022-23 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
