Nighthawks Fall to Simon Fraser at Home

NAMPA, Idaho – Northwest Nazarene men's soccer fell to Simon Fraser 1-0 in Thursday's afternoon match.
 
The Nighthawks' record is now 4-6-5 overall and 2-3-4 in GNAC play.
 
NNU had the edge in the first half with nine shots to SFU's two. The tables turned in the second half and the Red Leafs took nine shots to the Nighthawks' three. Sawyer Price was credited with two saves, both coming in the second half. The only goal of the contest came in the 69th minute when Hamish Ogden was assisted by Niko Papakyriakopoulos to give the Red Leafs a 1-0 advantage.

The Nighthawks are now mathematically eliminated from the hunt for a GNAC Championship this season.
