NAMPA, Idaho – Northwest Nazarene men's soccer knocked off #14 West Texas A&M in a thrilling match on Saturday.
How it Happened
The game was tied 0-0 for most of the first half. The Nighthawks didn't take as many shots as the Buffs in the first half, but they made their shots count with three of their five shots on target.
In the 33
rd minute,
Jake Levine sent a through ball to
Sullivan Smith. Smith and the keeper were both racing toward the ball. Smith beat him there and flipped the ball past him to an open net for a Nighthawks goal.
