PORTLAND, Ore. - The GNAC released the weekly honors for Oct. 24-30 on Monday afternoon, with Northwest Nazarene's
Madison Grande receiving the Women's Offensive Player of the Week honor.
Grande scored two of the Nighthawks' three goals in Thursday's 3-1 victory at Montana State Billings, netting the opening goal in the 33rd minute and the team's insurance goal in the 80th. She finished the week with 11 shots and finished the regular season with a league-leading 10 goals.
This is Grande's second GNAC Offensive weekly honor of the season and the seventh overall for NNU women's soccer this year.
NNU now takes the No. 2 seed into these week's GNAC Championships that they get the privilege of hosting, with No. 1 Western Washington facing No. 4 Simon Fraser and NNU taking on No. 3 Seattle Pacific in the semifinals on Thursday in Nampa.
