MONMOUTH, Ore. – Northwest Nazarene women's soccer remained unbeaten in GNAC play with a 0-0 draw at Western Oregon on Saturday.
NNU moves to 6-1-3 overall and 4-0-2 in conference action, improving their unbeaten streak to eight matches with six wins and two draws during the stretch.
How It Happened
The Nighthawks were unable to manage much offensively until a quick flurry of shots right before the end of the first half.
In a span of ninety seconds,
Madison Grande and
Carolyn Moravec each attempted three shots with Moravec putting one of her two attempts on goal, but the game would go to halftime scoreless.
Nothing much changed in the second half, with the Nighthawks managing two more shots on goal from
Savanna Herz and Grande but they were not able to cash in on any opportunities.
