NAMPA, Idaho – Northwest Nazarene volleyball struggled to contain a strong Central Washington side on Saturday afternoon, taking one set but falling to the Wildcats 3-1.
How It Happened
- The first set was fairly even throughout, but CWU was able to pull away late to take the early 1-0 advantage.
- The Wildcats used that momentum to run away with the second set, winning in 25-10.
- The Nighthawks showed great resolve, shrugging off that defeat to bounce back for a decisive 25-18 set three victory.
- However, CWU owned the fourth set with a 25-16 win to take the match.
