BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Northwest Nazarene volleyball made the trip north to Western Washington on Thursday, falling to the 19
th-ranked Vikings 3-0.
How It Happened
- NNU was never really able to get much going offensively, as Western Washington jumped out to large leads early in each set.
- The sets went to the Vikings by scores of 25-14, 25-14, and 25-12.
Nighthawks Notes
- Molly Anderson led the Nighthawks offensively with nine kills, hitting .222 on the night while also recording nine digs.
- Caroline McMahon's 13 digs led the team and Anna Gable led with four blocks to head the defensive effort.
- With five kills in the match, Brooke Foster moved into seventh in career kills in NNU's rally scoring history (2001-present), currently at 801. She surpassed Becky Flores (2009-12), who had 799 in her career.
