BURNABY, B.C. – The Northwest Nazarene volleyball team was swept by Simon Fraser on Thursday in a Great Northwest Athletic Conference match.
The Clan (9-8 overall, 6-5 GNAC) won 25-19, 25-16, 25-17 to sweep the season series from the Nighthawks (4-14, 4-7).
NNU struggled hitting the ball, finishing with a team attacking percentage of .079. The Nighthawks had 27 kills and 17 errors in the loss.
Tayler Markland and
Abbey Blum each had seven kills. Markland hit .250 percent and Blum was at .148.
Megan Nelson had 17 assists and seven digs,
Shayli Siegfreid had 16 digs,
Cami Heninger had 13 digs and
Kayla Sale had five kills.
NNU is back in action at 8 p.m. Saturday at Western Washington.
