Final Statistics
MONMOUTH, Ore. - 
Brian Barkdoll amassed his fifth double-double of the year  to lead the Northwest Nazarene men's basketball team past Western Oregon  University 79-76 on Saturday afternoon in Monmouth.
 
 
The win breaks an eight-game losing streak for the Crusaders, who are  now 11-12 overall and 3-10 in conference play, while the Wolves fall to 9-15  overall and are also 3-10 in league action.
 
Barkdoll posted game-high's of 22 points and 12 rebounds to lead the  Crusaders.  Adding to his stat line, Barkdoll had four assists and a blocked  shot in his 34 minutes of action.
 
Adam Shildmyer hit on all six of his free throws down the stretch and  finished with 15 points and five rebounds, while 
Joel Ryman also hit  double-figures with 11 points.
 
 
Travis Kuhns led the Wolves with 18 and Stanley Ratcliff had 15.  Both Matt  Schmidt and Blair Wheadon finished with 12 and Sam Kelly added 11.  The Wolves  shot 50-percent (30-60) from the floor, but were out-rebounded 36-24 by the  Crusaders.
 
NNU also shot 50-percent (28-56) from the field, but added a 50-percent  (8-16) mark from the three point line and a 78.9-percent (15-19) attack from the  foul line.
 
The Crusaders will return to Nampa and close out the season at home,  hosting the University of Alaska Fairbanks next Thursday night and the  University of Alaska Anchorage on Saturday evening.  Both games begin at 7:00  p.m. MT at the Johnson Sports Center.
