BILLINGS, Mont. - Held to just 21 second-half points, the Northwest Nazarene men's basketball team fell to Montana State Billings 81-51 on Saturday evening in a Great Northwest Athletic Conference contest at Alterowitz Gym in Billings.
NNU led 30-29 at the half, but would shoot just 40-percent (18-45) from the floor and see Montana State Billings (8-9, 3-3 GNAC) score 52 second-half points. MSUB finished at 58.9-percent (33-56) from the field and six-of-10 from the three-point line.
Michael Hall led the 'Jackets with 20 points, 19 in the second-half, and Brad Hodge came off the bench to score 15. Travis Bunker scored 13 pulled-down a game-high seven rebounds and Derrick Wright added 10.
The 'Jackets out rebounded the Crusaders 36-20 and forced 19 NNU turnovers.
The Crusaders, in the midst of a grueling four-game road stretch, will now travel to Central Washington and Western Washington next weekend having already played at Seattle Pacific and now at MSU Billings this weekend.
