Murphey joins the Crusaders staff for the 2015 season after finishing a successful NCAA Division I playing career at Boise State where the right-side hitter played in 108 matches in her four-years with the Broncos.
In her time on the hardwood, Murphey pounded down 626 kills, had 185 blocks and added in 141 digs for BSU indoors, and was 10-14 in two years playing for the Broncos sand volleyball program, which began in 2014.
A native of St. George, Utah, and a Snow Canyon High School graduate, Murphey began her coaching career two years ago with the Boise Volleyball Club, serving as head coach for the program’s 13-year-old and 16-year-old teams.
