Berggren starts her second season with the Nighthawks in the 2018-19 school year as the goalkeepers coach.

Berggren graduated from Gonzaga University in 2013 with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. She played soccer for the Bulldogs for four years. After graduating, she played one year professionally with the Swedish club Umea IK.

She has been the club coach for the Boise Thorns since 2016.
