Jason begins his second year at NNU and his fifth year with coach Daniels.
“Jason is highly motivated,” Daniels commented. “His intense commitment to Christ, his players and his job make him a blessing to work with and an enormous asset to our basketball program. He is an outstanding recruiter and a great young coach.”
A 2004 graduate of Hope College in Holland, Michigan, Mejeur was a three-year letter-winner on the hardwood and helped his teams record a 65-19 overall record during his playing career. A veteran of two Athletes in Action international tours, Jason traveled to Turkey in 2004 and Israel during the summer of 2010.
Prior to his tenure at Colorado Christian, Mejeur served as the volunteer assistant coach at Saint Joseph High School in St. Joseph, Michigan while also working in private business.
Jason married Jacqueline Lacey this past May and they now reside in Meridian. Jacqueline serves in the Office of University Advancement at NNU as the University Fund Director.
