Coach Nick Horton begins his 1st season with the Crusaders in 2015.

Nick, who will coach with NNU's catchers and pitchers, has coached in the Treasure Valley since 2008 and had stints with Timberline High School, Borah High School and most recently, Boise High School.

Horton also has experience as a head coach, coaching at the freshman and JV level, and served as a varsity assistant, as well.

As a player, Horton attended Scottsdale Community College in 2005 where he sustained an injury that cut his career at SCC short, thoughcontinued to play club baseball at Boise State University in 2008 while going to the NCBA regionals in Oregon. After his season with BSU, Horton played for the Nampa Outlaws in the 2009 Boise Summer League obtaining the league title.

Coach Horton Is married to his lovely wife, Gina, and resides in downtown Boise.

Nick is a 2005 graduate from Nampa High School and 2015 graduate with a History degree from BSU. He is currently enrolled at NNU pursuing his Masters Degree in Educational Leadership.
