JAKE REPPERT (2014-15): Drafted in the 27th round of the 2015 draft by the Philadelphia Phillies and was assigned to the Gulf Coast League (Fla.) Phillies (Rookie) for the 2015 season.
ZEB SNEED (2010-12): Drafted in the 11th round of the 2012 draft by the Kansas City Royals. Played 2012 with the Idaho Falls Chukars of Pioneer League (Rookie) and 2013 with the Idaho Falls Chukars of Pioneer League (Rookie) and Lexington Legends of South Atlantic League (Single A). Promoted to the Wilmington Blue Rocks of the Carolina League (Advanced Single A) for the 2014 season. ZACH PENRODÂ (2018):Â Signed as a free agent with the Texas Rangers in 2018 and played the 2018 seasons with the Rangers Rookie League team in Arizona. After two years off from professional baseball, Penrod signed with the Boise Hawks of the Pioneer League (Independent) for the 2021 season. Played for the Billings Mustangs of the Pioneer League in 2022 and started the 2023 season with the Missoula Paddleheads of the Pioneer League before signing with the Boston Red Sox and spending the rest of 2023 with the Greenville Drive of the South Atlantic League (Single-A Advanced). In 2024, he remains in the Red Sox organization, starting with the Portland Sea Dogs of the Eastern League (Double-A) before moving up to the Worcester Red Sox of the International League (Triple-A) at the end of May. On September 14, 2024, Penrod was called up to join the Red Sox in Yankee Stadium and threw a scoreless inning against the Yankees with two strikeouts, becoming the first player in NNU program history to appear in the Major Leagues. On June 20, 2025, Penrod was traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers, and is currently pitching for the Dodgers' Triple-A Affiliate, the Oklahoma City Comets.
