Lateef started 25 games as a junior, averaging 5.4 points and 2.6 rebounds per game...He scored a season-high 15 points against Portland Bible (12-12-09) and had six rebounds against UC Colorado Springs (11-27-09).

Prior to NNU
Lateef played two seasons at North Idaho College where he averaged 6.4 points and 2.2 assists per game for the 27-4 Cardinal, champions of the Scenic West Athletic Conference last season.  An honorable-mention selection to the SWAC All-League team, Williams started all 31 games for the Cardinal.

High School
Lateef averaged 20.8 points and 3.7 assists as a senior at Annapolis High School in 2007.  Named to the first-team All-Metro League in the Baltimore Region, Williams was the 2007 Anne Arundel County Player-of-the-Year and finished his high school career as the 8th all-time leading scorer at Annapolis High with 1,057 career points.
