NAMPA, Idaho - The Northwest Nazarene women's soccer team played Western Oregon to a scoreless draw this afternoon at the NNU Soccer & LAX field.
After coming off a dominating 3-0 win over Saint Martin's, NNU struggled to find the net against WOU despite taking 10 total shots, five in each half.
With plenty of opportunities, the Nighthawks only found two shots on target from
Marlee Buffham in the 36th minute and
Abbey Blancett in the 64th minute.
NNU had the upper hand all game with 57 percent possession with 30 percent of that in the attacking third of the field.Â
Both teams struggled to create any offense as the game would end 0-0.
The Nighthawks are now 1-5-2 overall and 1-2-1 in conference play. They will travel to RV Seattle Pacific on Thursday and then agasint Montana State Billings on Saturday.
