Box Score BURNABY, B.C. - The Northwest Nazarene women's soccer team dropped a GNAC matchup to Simon Faser on a 7-1 decision on Saturday afternoon.

The Nighthawks struggled from the get go as SFU took the lead with a goal in the sixth minute. The struggles compounded in the eighth minute when a foul in the box gave the Red Leafs a penalty that they converted to go up 2-0 early. Simon Fraser would go up 3-0 in the 25th minute before Mylee Carver Moulton broke through for the Nighthawks in the 41st minute. SFU would answer a minute later and the first-half would end 4-1.

The second-half started much like the first with a SFU goal just five minutes in and two more in the 65th and 70th minute to secure the 7-1 win.

NNU falls to 0-5-1 overall and 0-2 in GNAC play. They will look to rebound against Saint Martin's next Thursday. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 PM.
