SALEM, Ore. - Northwest Nazarene finished their final road trip before GNAC play with a shutout win over St. Mary's.
The Nighthawks are coming off a hard fought 1-0 win over West Texas A&M on Thursday and put together another strong effort with a 2-0 decision over St. Mary's.

Alex Barragan put St. Mary's keeper Nichita Misac to work with shots in the fifth and 10th minutes that forced saves. NNU would break through in the 17th minute as
Jim Wagenaar netted his first goal of the year to give the Nighthawks a 1-0 lead.
The second-half saw very little offensive action as NNU held on to a narrow 1-0 lead until the 87th minute that saw an own goal put NNU up 2-0, en route to their second straight win.
NNU improves to 4-1-3 overall and is on a two game win-streak. They will look forward to opening their conference schedule on Thursday when they host the No. 11 ranked Seattle Pacific Falcons.
