Portland, OR - SOFTBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Keana Bell earned the first-career player of the week. Bell helped lead the Nighthawks to a successful week in California, as NNU went 4-3 throughout a full week of NCAA Division II competition. Bell had four RBIs in NNU's win over Regis on Feb. 6 and in her team's win over San Francisco State on Feb. 7, clearing the fence in each game. She also recorded a pair of doubles and scored five runs across the seven-game sample. Defensively, bell committed zero errors in 24 chances at third base, helping NNU turn a pair of double plays. Through the first 11 games of the season, Bell is slashing .344/.447/.781 with four homers and a dozen RBIs.

NNU Head Coach Rich Wagner: "Keana consistently came up with big swings in big moments all week. She also played an amazing third base and saved multiple games with her defense."
