"Jen brings a unique combination of experience that makes her a great fit for this position," Director of Athletics Paul Rush said. "She understands intercollegiate athletics, she has extensive experience building relationships in the business world, and most importantly, she understands and believes in the mission of Northwest Nazarene University. As we continue to grow NNU Athletics, we want to do so in a way that strengthens our relationships throughout the Treasure Valley and advances our Christ-centered mission. I am excited for Jen to help lead those efforts."
Prior to joining NNU, Felvus served as the head softball coach at MidAmerica Nazarene University (Kans.) beginning in August 2022. She oversaw all aspects of the Pioneer softball program, including recruiting, budgeting, scheduling, travel, fundraising, player development and day-to-day operations.

Along with their development on the field, Felvus emphasized Christian character and spiritual development within the program. She also served on the Heart of America softball coaching committee and as a Freshman Seminar instructor at MidAmerica Nazarene.
Felvus' athletics experience also includes several coaching positions at the high school and middle school levels in Kansas. She served as the head softball coach at Atchison High School and Marion High School and held assistant coaching positions in softball and volleyball.
In addition to her athletics background, Felvus brings more than two decades of experience in business, sales, management and customer relations.
