Softball Leads GNAC with 15 All-Academic Selections

| By:
PORTLAND, Ore. - The GNAC has announced the 2025 Softball GNAC All-Academic Team presented by Barnes & Noble College on Wednesday, with 15 members of the Northwest Nazarene program earning honors.

The Nighthawks were represented by Kellcie Adams, Olivia Bailey, Keana Bell, Lauryn Bergevin, Lynsey Chiala, Olivia Davies, Kaylee Duncan, Charlotte Forniss, Emilie Hernandez, Alyssa Jeffrey, Mari Kamemoto, Clarissa Moreno, Jami Obringer, Annie Swanson, and Mia Traylor.

NNU's 15 honors led the conference this season, four more than the next highest GNAC squad with Montana State Billings receiving 11. This is also the most GNAC All-Academic honorees for any NNU softball team in program history, edging out the 14 awards received in the 2022 season.

Adams, Forniss, Hernandez, and Kamemoto are all now three-time All-Academic honorees in their careers. Bailey, Duncan, Moreno, and Obringer also earned the award for the second time.

To qualify for academic all-conference, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.20, must be in at least their second season competing for their team and must have competed on the field during the 2025 campaign.
