The contest remained within reach deep into the second half as the Nighthawks pushed the tempo and applied pressure on both ends of the floor.
Defensively, Northwest Nazarene played with energy and discipline, contesting shots, forcing turnovers, getting multiple blocks, and staying active in passing lanes. The team's effort was especially evident in transition defense and rebounding battles, as the Nighthawks worked to limit second-chance opportunities and keep the game close.
