NAMPA, Idaho - Northwest Nazarene women's soccer faced Chaminade in the final game of NNU's hosted tournament on Tuesday, falling 2-1.
Alejandra Jaramillo scored her first goal of the season in the 6th minute, as she drove into the top of the box and ripped a shot with her left foot that just got around the reach of the goalie.
In the 34th minute, Chaminade struck back as Gracie Knowd scored a header off of a corner kick assist from her sister Madelynne Knowd. Chaminade scored again in the 39th minute with Alexys Taira's long strike from the top of the box, assisted by Gracie Knowd.
Jaramillo led NNU in shots with three total, two of which were on goal.
NNU's next matchup is home on September 21st against Westminster.
