BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Northwest Nazarene softball fell to Western Washington 4-0 in the GNAC Championship on Saturday.
The Nighthawks are now 39-10 overall and 20-4 in the GNAC.
Western Washington took a 2-0 lead in the third inning. Three singles in a row scored the first run of the game and the second run came in to score on a single after a strikeout. The Vikings added two more runs in the top of the fourth inning on a single, a walk, and a double.
The Nighthawks offense was held to three hits that came in three different innings. All three hits were singles, coming from
Emma Bumatay in the second inning,
Ava Clark in the third inning, and
Keana Bell in the fifth inning.

The Nighthawks await the NCAA selection show on Monday to decide where they will fit in to a regional tournament.
